Lakeside’s Parents and Guardians Association warmly welcomes all Middle and Upper School families, faculty, staff, and alums to the 8th annual Community Night on Saturday, Oct. 18, from 5-7 p.m. in The Paul G. Allen Athletics Center. This event is free; no need to RSVP — just join us for the fun!

Celebrate the vibrant diversity of our Lakeside community, where we embrace all families, including yours. Come for food, performances, international games, and global music. Discover fellowship and community at our family stations that showcase treasured traditions and histories, fun facts, games, crafts, and delicious bites.

Schedule of activities:
5-5:15 p.m. Parade of One Lakeside (see below)
5:15-6 p.m. Program and performances
6-7 p.m. Potluck dinner, family sharing stations, and international games

Come and go as need be. Review the campus map here. The Athletics Center is #14.

Ways to participate:

  • Potluck - Lakeside has a culture that welcomes everyone to the table and values every contribution. Feel free to bring something to share — your favorite casserole, a cultural entrée, an appetizer, an easy dessert, or drinks. Bringing something, however, is not required — the most important thing is for you and your family to come as you are.
  • Parade - Don contemporary and traditional clothing/accessories that celebrate your culture, ethnicity, or country(s) of origin, and proudly parade your garb to launch the festivities. Regardless of dress, everyone is welcome to join the Parade of One Lakeside. No need to sign up in advance.
  • Host a table - Share your culture or family traditions alone or with others. If you are interested in hosting a table, please contact Ana Flavia Hedrick via Lakeside PGA as soon as possible. Space is limited.
